<p><em>This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the evaluation of the implementation of the City Without Slums Program (KOTAKU) in Lappa Village, Sinjai City, and the impact of implementing the City Without Slums Program (KOTAKU) in Lappa Village, Sinjai City. This research used a qualitative research type with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques carried out using observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the condition of the basic housing infrastructure in the Lappa sub-district is still poor or inadequate as a residential area. There are several infrastructures with poor or inadequate conditions such as drainage networks. Meanwhile, infrastructure conditions that have a moderate level of condition are the road network, drinking water and solid waste infrastructure.</em></p>M. <p><em>Kelurahan Lappa is one of the areas that has not been able to optimize the benefits of natural resources with human resources and inadequate waste and drainage infrastructure conditions. This study aims to find out how the concept of sustainable development is applied in regional development in the Lappa village. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach in which researchers see directly the existing conditions without changing the events that occur in the field. This research was conducted in Lappa Village, North Sinjai District starting in May-June 2023. The analysis techniques in this study used accessibility and site planning with data collection methods, namely literature study, observation, interviews, and documentation. <p><em>Tanassang Neighborhood is an area in North Sinjai District which is directed for the development of the new Independent Core Region area because it has very good development potential and is supported by land conditions, accessibility, and utilities. The purpose of this study is to plan a new regional planning concept for the Independent Core region of the Tanassang Environment which is equipped with complementary components such as supporting facilities and infrastructure. The analytical method used is a qualitative descriptive approach by determining the location based on site selection criteria and using accessibility analysis techniques and site planning. Collecting data using literature, observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the planning for a new area of the Tanassang Environment with its potential applies the Mixed Use Development concept which can be an alternative solution in meeting the needs of a new area that is independent because it is equipped with facilities and infrastructure to support activities.</em></p>Nasrullah NasrullahFadilah UlfahAbdul KhalikAmalya Kartika Sapri
